Rotary Burgerfest Crowns its Patty Perfectionists

The Rotary Club of Rotonda Burgerfest, held on October 21, drew a large crowd to witness the burger cook-offs and sample the competitors’ burger creations. There were 14 grillers competing for the best burger in Englewood. Don Wilson won the amateur title of Grillmaster. Shannon Kunkel, from Cape Haze Tavern, took the honors in the professional chef category. Janet Shawen of the Rotonda Rotary Club, expressed the club’s appreciation for the community turnout and support of all who helped make the event a success. If you missed this year’s event, it will return in 2024.
