Visit Nicola's Food Truck during hurricane repairs

You may not be able to sit inside to enjoy a meal, but Nicola’s Italian Kitchen is open and still serves most of its menu options at a food truck set up at the restaurant. The restaurant building is closed as hurricane repairs are being completed with an anticipated reopening date in June. The food truck menu includes many of the house favorites: pasta and other Italian entrees, grinders (subs), soup, caprese salad, and don’t forget the desserts like tiramisu, limoncello cake and cheesecake. Beer and wine are available. Daily/weekly specials are listed on the online menu. Unfortunately, the big pizza oven is not available, so you will have to wait until the building reopens for pizza and garlic knots. You can view the menu on Nicola’s website and their Facebook page. Place your order online at nicolasitaliankicthen.net or at the walk-up counter. The phone line will be opening soon for placing orders. The piazza is available for those who would like to enjoy their take-out on premises. Nicola’s is a long-time Englewood favorite; owners Nicola and Tina De Fazio opened their restaurant in 1990 and continue to make their dishes from scratch. Nicola’s is located at 4343 S. Access Road.
