The Boca Royale Community hosted its Fifth Annual “Play It Forward” event on March 16th in support of “Boca Royale Cares” (known by residents as “Boca Cares”), a donor advisor fund helping the greater Englewood Community. The “Play It Forward” event is based on active participation through walking, biking, pickleball and tennis. This year, over 200 residents participated, a number that has grown year over year. Residents made a $60 dollar donation to Boca Cares and 100% of the donation will be distributed to needy individuals in the greater Englewood Community. In addition to the “Play It Forward” event, this year included a Sunset & Salsa dinner and program for a $100 donation that was held in the newly renovated Boca Royale 19th Hole and outdoor dining area. As in past years, “Play It Forward” is made possible by the generous support of corporate sponsors and community partners. A total of 25 local businesses were part of this year’s event.
