Step in solidarity for survivors of sexual assault on Saturday, April 27, 8am, at Larry Taylor Kiwanis Park, 501 Donora Street, Port Charlotte. The “Community For a Cause” is part of Sexual Assault Awareness month and the meaningful walk is along a scenic mile-long path. It is free to participate but donations for the hospital response team would be greatly appreciated. Desired donations for survivors are new T-shirts, leggings/sweatpants, socks, and sports bras (all sizes). RSVP is requested by calling 941•639•5499. The walk is presented by the Charlottte County Sexual Awareness Response Team, Center for Abuse & Rape (C.A.R.E.) and Charlotte County.
