Charlotte Players announces New General Manager

Charlotte Players announces the appointment of Jeanne DeYoung as General Manager. She will, in her words, “Provide the glue to hold together a gloriously eclectic mix of people, projects, and priorities.” Jeanne notes that Charlotte Players has been around for a long time, but there is always potential for new growth, and she looks forward to growing along with the theater as they enter each new phase. Jeanne is a Florida native who grew up in the Punta Gorda area. She became involved in theater working with the late Ken Crisp in his group Crisp and Company. She started working with Charlotte Players in 2012, working primarily as a stage manager and assisting with costumes and props as needed. Jeanne became a Charlotte Players staff member four years ago and has been assisting Executive Director Sherrie Moody. Charlotte Players is thrilled to have Jeanne continue her career at Charlotte Players as General Manager.
