Beach Road Boutique is back

Good news for those seeking a place to look for gifts, as well as items for themselves. Beach Road Boutique has completed their renovations in their new larger building (just next door from the former location) and is open for business once again. Stop by the store at 1350 Beach Road and see the tastefully arranged merchandise: home décor, jewelry, housewares, T-shirts & sweatshirts, hats, gifts and works by local artists, all with a seashore feeling that is perfect for the Englewood area. The store is open daily from 10am to 6pm. Owner Jill Hemmes opened the original boutique in 2007 after hearing customers at her and her husband, Scott’s, other business, Beach Road Watersports, talk about where to shop for gifts. She is ecstatic about the boutique finally reopening and calls it “her happy place”. Jill and and Scott also own The Waverly Restaurant & Bar. A grand reopening event is planned for Thursday, April 25, 4:30 to 6pm, with a ribbon-cutting by the Englewood Chamber of Commerce. The shop can be reached at 941•474•6564.
