Chris Bush Wins the Hermitage Major Theater Award

The Hermitage Artist Retreat announces the fourth recipient of the Hermitage Major Theater Award and accompanying $35,000 commission to Chris Bush. The award-winning playwright, lyricist, and theater maker is based in the United Kingdom. Her comprehensive body of work includes “Standing at the Sky’s Edge” that won an Olivier Award and UK Theatre Award for Best Musical. Bush will receive a Hermitage residency and fellowship at the Hermitage, as well as a developmental workshop in London.
