Jeff Prosser, a Senior Chief Navy SEAL, attended the April 11th meeting of the Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary Club. He was there to make two amazing presentations. Jeff presented to both LBSR President Eric Howes and LBSR member Mitch Mesenburg each a Navy Seal Challenge Coin. Eric received a coin on behalf of the Rotary Club. The club sent a care package to Jeff’s SEAL team after they lost two members on their mission in the Arabian Sea off Yemen in January. Jeff was the team leader for that mission. He and his men took the loss very hard. Mitch received the coin for his work with Veterans and Active-Duty Military, Gold Star Families, Law Enforcement and First Responders through Operation Solid 7, the non-profit he and his wife, Shannon, set up after their son, Senior Airman XinHua Mesenburg, committed suicide in 2019. It was an honor to have Jeff, a true hero, attend the club meeting. Jeff is the son of LBSR Club member John Fredricks.
