Farlow’s Announces New Restaurant

Keith and Laurie Farlow, long time community leaders and popular restaurateurs in Englewood, are thrilled to announce their latest venture with the acquisition of 285 W Dearborn St., the former site of La Stanza Ristorante. The 8,500 square-foot building is set to house a brand-new restaurant, with a unique and inventive dining experience.
Keith noted “With Al (Kanacevic) looking to retire after more than 40 years in the restaurant business, we were afforded the opportunity to bring our new concept to Dearborn Street. Dearborn is a vibrant dining and entertainment destination of which we are grateful to be a part. The Dearborn location allows us to further serve our community and customers.”
The Farlows, who have been prominent figures in the Englewood dining scene since 1991, when David Farlow (Keith’s father) opened the Country Hound, are excited to bring their latest concept to life on Dearborn. “Service to the community and collaborative opportunities for employees are touchstones at Farlow’s on the Water. We consider our employees family and they have always had the opportunity to become a part of the legacy we are creating. Adding the Dearborn location allows us to greatly increase the opportunities for our employees to be part of that legacy.” Keith explained. 
This new restaurant will not only complement the existing Farlow’s on the Water but will also introduce a fresh, innovative culinary spirit with a comforting, homestyle twist. Slated for opening in 2025, the new design aligns with the MOD (Mainstreet Overlay District) plan for Dearborn Street and will be thoughtfully designed to enhance the dining experience and foster a deeper connection between guests.
