The Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership (CHNEP) is excited to host the 2024 Southwest Florida Climate Summit. This public event will be held on Wednesday & Thursday, February 28 & 29, 9am to 5pm, at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center, 75 Taylor Street, Punta Gorda. The Summit will feature experts with interactive audience question and answer sessions, to exchange ideas on expanding the region’s capacity to respond to climate challenges and to build climate resilience in area communities. Topics including New Regional Climate Science, Hurricane Ian Informing Resiliency Efforts, Resilient Regional Water Management, Resiliency Planning Lessons, Resiliency Opportunities, as well as Heartland Regional Resiliency Coalition and Resiliency Innovations Panel Discussions.
