The Rotary Club of Englewood is excited to announce the return of their annual Fine Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday, March 23 & 24, 10am to 4pm both days. West Dearborn Street comes to life with stunning original artwork and live music, drawing thousands of visitors. The artists will display and sell their original artwork, and their creations are the stars of this two-day weekend art show. Every imaginable handmade item is here -- fine jewelry, art glass, paintings, photography, ceramics, sculpture and more. This year’s featured artist will be Steve Whitlock, whose focus is on illustrating saltwater game fish and wildlife onto navigational charts as well as very naturalistic fine art paintings. His main medium is acrylic, but he also works with watercolor and pencil. The festival will also feature food & beverages from local restaurants & vendors, live music, and shopping in the stores along the street. The art show is free to the public, but Rotarians will be asking for a $2 donation that benefits the Englewood Rotary Youth Foundation, a 501 (c)3 organization that supports many local youth activities.
