Homeless Families: topic of BPWEV meeting

Judy Fagenbaum, the executive director of Family Promise of South Sarasota County presented an important program to the members and guests of the Business and Professional Women of Englewood and Venice (BPWEV) at the March dinner meeting. The statistics regarding homeless families in South Sarasota County are staggering and Family Promise is helping many of these families by finding housing and other services for them. Family Promise’s main concern is to keep the families together. Many local churches are contributing temporary housing and meals for these families. Volunteer help is always needed. Learn more at familypromisessc.org. BPWEV meets every 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Left Coast Seafood restaurant in Venice. For more info visit bpwev.org. Guests are invited to all BPWEV dinners.  Pictured above are (l to r:) Katie Malloy, Jennifer Fagenbaum, Judy Braham.
