UPDATE: Supplies Needed to Help Hurricane Harvey Animal Victims

Suncoast Humane Society will be accepting donations of tangible supplies for the animal victims of Hurricane Harvey in Southeast Texas. Conversations with the Houston SPCA has led to the “Wish List” of most needed items in the animal rescue zone.

Executive Director Phil Snyder said, “We will be accepting needed donated items beginning Tuesday. We hope to fill a large box truck by Saturday, September 9 at 4:00 PM.” Suncoast Humane Society is closed on Sunday and Monday. Please do not leave items unattended at the gate.

Penske is donating a large truck to transport collected items to Southeast Texas. Suncoast Humane Society will be looking for volunteers to deliver the supplies to the Houston SPCA.

Money and gift cards are needed most of all, but should be SENT DIRECTLY to organizations such as  Houston SPCA, Houston Humane Society, ASPCA,  or The Humane Society of the United States. Please note that pet food is not needed at this time.
