What a show!
The 2016 Englewood Area Orchid Society show was a great success thanks to many, many hand for a wonderful display. There were 12 people exhibiting plants and EAOS won ribbons on 51 of the 56 plants. Bravo! There were several winners with awards: Carol Nissen received 3 awards on her lovely plant, Corey Plasek had two plants that won awards, Jana Kewley received an award and Walter Roberts won awards on two plants.

One More Chance For Pancakes

There is only one more Pancake Brunch left this season at Englewood United Methodist Church, on Saturday, March April 9 from 7:30 –11am. Proceeds from the brunches help fund local charities and provide scholarships. Only $5 (children under age 12, free) buys unlimited pancakes, orange juice, and bottomless coffee or tea; plus egg and sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, or quiche and fresh fruit as side choices.
